Arduino IDE
The easiest way to program a Raspberry Pi MegaPi Hat is with the Arduino IDE. To do this the programming software(avrdude) that is packaged with the Arduino IDE needs to be upgraded to allow the Raspberry Pi General purpose IO pins to program the hat.
